I have painted live wedding paintings and live guest illustrations at some amazing wedding venues here in the UK!
Some of these wedding venues really stand out, so I thought it would be nice to do a venue spotlight blog post on a few of them.

This beautiful wedding was held at the Nakshatra Banqueting hall in Feltham, West London
The bride and groom really leant into using a beautiful bright saturated colour palette in bright pinks, marigold yellows and tangerine oranges, with pops of white all over the venue. And as the venue can accommodate 600 guests, it was wonderful to see so many colourful sarees and outfits from the friends and family members, to add to the colour palette too!

A Stunning South Asian, Hindu Wedding Painting
I wanted to use the beautiful floral arch at the beginning of the aisle to frame the couple's oil painting and bring all of the amazing colours into the piece. I would then add the couple into the centre once the bride had changed into her red saree and had her gold chain placed around her neck by the groom.

Tamil Live Wedding Painting - The Finished Piece!
As the wedding started very early in the morning and only lasted until lunchtime, I took the painting back with me to finish in my studio. I made sure to take pictures of all of the beautiful decor details of the venue and close up shots of the flowers and ornaments I wanted to add into the piece later on.
I added in the wood panelling behind the couple, the flower garlands and jewellery onto the bride and groom, to really allow the piece to pop. When I had painted the last petal of floral confetti, I knew the piece was finally finished!

Let me know what you think of this piece!
